Release Day! – Our Lady of the Islands

Today we are proud to release a very special novel. It is possibly the last novel of our dear friend, Jay Lake, who died earlier this year. He and collaborator Shannon Page co-wrote the first drafts of Our Lady of the Islands before his death.

Our Lady of the Islands by Shannon Page & Jay LakeThere is a lot of Jay in this book, and we’ve made an effort to honor his memory in everything from the beautiful cover art by Mark J. Ferrari to the exquisite interior design by Karawynn Long. Shannon’s fantastic revisions took the manuscript to the next level. Jay himself was too sick to help with the revisions, but we know he would be proud of the final outcome. The result is an epic fantasy novel that has been praised in Locus Magazine and honored by Publishers Weekly as one of their Best Books of 2014.
